Premiere! Und zwar im doppelten Sinn. Erstmals nach ihrem Ende als Anchorwoman von Sky Sport Austria (vormals Premiere) spricht Elisabeth Gamauf-Leitner über die Beweggründe, den Arbeitgeber nach rund 14 Jahren zu verlassen. Im Rampenlicht ist Elisabeth Gamauf-Leitner schon immer gerne gestanden. Im jungen Erwachsenenalter war vor allem die Rockbühne ihr zuhause, auf der sie mit der Band ihres Bruders und Ex-GAK-Kickers Harry Gamauf ordentlich Gas gab. Doch dann rief der ORF. Im Landesstudio Burgenland durfte sie das Fernsehgeschäft von der Pieke auf kennenlernen, absolvierte darüber hinaus eine Vielzahl verschiedenster Fortbildungen im Rahmen der ORF-Akademie, über die Gamauf-Leitner noch heute in höchsten Tönen spricht. Und es sollte sich lohnen, denn 2007 folgte der Karrierehöhepunkt: Thomas Trukesitz und Martin Konrad lotsten die glühende Fußball- und Basketball-Anhängerin zum jetzigen Pay-TV-Sender Sky Sport Austria. In den Auhof-Studios reifte die 45-Jährige zur Anchorwoman und zu einer der ersten Frauen Österreichs in einer großen Sport-TV-Rolle.
Gamauf-Leitner erzählt in Episode 31 des KaffeehausTALK u.a. warum sie den Job als Fieldreporter als ultimativen Härtetest sieht, was die Rockbühne für sie so besonders macht, wie sie im Europacup in Graz ihre größte Live-Challenge meisterte, und wie sie die viel diskutierten Sky-Personalentscheidungen der letzten Jahre sieht.
